Artillery, Tricks and Faith - GUR on the Return of Snake Island.

On Snake Island, the imprint of bravery and courage of Ukrainian defenders is visible. The capture of the island required unconventional decisions, courage, and a great dose of adventurism. Success was achieved thanks to artillery, drones, and inventive approaches.
Liberation of Snake Island
Participants of the operation emphasize that the lack of the necessary equipment did not prevent them from completing the assigned task. The main thing is they were determined in their goal and hopeful for victory.
'At that Time, we practically had no means that could effectively hit the island from the mainland - it was too far. But we had a task. And we accomplished it,' said one of the fighters.
To subdue the enemy, Ukrainians found a unique way - they brought the howitzer 'Bohdan' to the shores of the Danube, which indeed struck the positions of the occupiers on the island.
Adventurous Methods of Liberating the Island
Near Snake Island, not only heavy artillery was used, but also autogyros hidden under camouflage. The special forces managed to approach unnoticed, disguised as 'tourists'.
'The guys dressed up as 'tourists' - shirts, shorts - to approach closer unnoticed,' said one participant of the actions.
Snake Island under the Ukrainian Flag
After the liberation of the captured island, the military felt extraordinary joy and strength. They were convinced of their capabilities and readiness for future challenges. Snake Island became the first step in reconnaissance and defense of coastal waters and was an important event for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
'This is a magical place. ... You look at the sea and know: somewhere there - they are. But this is already our shore,' shares the experiences one of the soldiers.
After the successful liberation of Snake Island, the Ukrainian military expanded their operations and reconnaissance along the Ukrainian coastline, which is evidenced by the operation to liberate the Boyko towers. This indicates a new turning point in the steadfast defense against occupation threats.
