US President Joe Biden held a phone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
During the conversation, Biden emphasized the strength of American-German relations and expressed the intention to continue close cooperation on geopolitical priorities, according to the White House.
It is noted that Biden stressed the importance of further support for Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression.
The leaders also discussed the current state of bilateral relations between the USA and Germany.
