Bloomberg: Britain and France prepare a security guarantees plan for Ukraine to present to Trump.

Britain and France plan to present a plan to create security forces in Ukraine
The governments of the United Kingdom and France are preparing a detailed plan for the establishment of security forces in Ukraine after the end of the conflict. The main goal of these forces is to convince US President Donald Trump to provide security guarantees to Ukraine.
According to information from Bloomberg, military leaders plan to finalize the plan within two weeks. This plan will determine how the European coalition will ensure the security of Ukrainian airspace, coastlines, and borders, as well as assist in the restoration of the Ukrainian armed forces.
The UK Secretary of State for Defence Jon Hill and France's Sebastian Lecornu stated that this plan will be shown to Trump to demonstrate the seriousness of the intentions of European countries. Organizers hope this will convince the US to provide support in the form of air forces, border surveillance, and intelligence.
Already, 30 countries have joined the coalition, which includes not only European states but also Canada, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand. All participants must provide detailed information about their contributions by the end of next week. 15 countries have already offered military resources, including aircraft, naval ships, and other equipment.
'For the US to truly participate in this, they need to see that we are doing a lot,' said Lithuanian Minister of Defence Arvydas Anušauskas. - 'One of the most important roles for the US is monitoring the ceasefire.'
Currently, Trump has not yet decided whether to provide security guarantees to Ukraine. US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegset confirmed that the Trump administration's position has not changed, although some officials indicate that the US is taking a tough approach to Russia due to a lack of progress in the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur emphasized the need for an immediate increase in military aid to Ukraine and the development of a security forces plan. According to him, Russia is seeking to reach some agreements with the US by May 9 - the anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany.
According to Hill, 200 military planners are already working on the detailed security forces plan. The participating countries are still discussing specific details and the structure of the mission, and Turkey is considering participation in the maritime component of the plan.
