This is already Trump's war. Zelensky's associate assessed the risk of US 'fatigue' from Ukraine.

The head of the Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation Committee Oleksandr Merezhko expressed his opinion on Rubio's statement regarding the possible cessation of support for Ukraine from the US. He believes that this is a political move aimed at forcing Russia into negotiations. Merezhko also noted that the war in Ukraine is no longer associated with the Biden administration, but has become 'Trump's war.' However, he believes that the US will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine, as such a move would strike a blow to Trump's reputation and trust in the US.
Merezhko also urges the Trump administration to impose strict sanctions on the RF if it does not accept the US proposals and continues to demand its ultimatums. However, he emphasizes that Trump does not have a clear plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine and is confused about further actions.
At the same Time, Mykhailo Pashkov from the Razumkov Center notes that the lack of US support can have both positive and negative effects on the situation in Ukraine. It will be a negative signal for Russia, but it may also lead to an escalation of the conflict in the region.
