Cabbage prices are falling: what is happening in the Ukrainian vegetable market.

Instead of meat: how the tasty 'syrvialkovyi' product is made and where to buy it
Ukraine has witnessed a decrease in activity in the cabbage market. This information is provided by analysts from the EastFruit project.
By the end of last week, the quantity of cabbage on the market had significantly increased. Farmers who had previously not sold their products began clearing sales due to deterioration in storage quality.
This increase in supply has led to a drop in prices. While prices for cabbage previously rose, producers are now forced to lower them.
Currently, cabbage is sold at a price ranging from 32 to 38 hryvnias per kilogram, which is 10% cheaper than at the beginning of the week.
Farms that have quality cabbage are not in a hurry to sell. They hope that the demand for this product will increase by the end of the month.
It is worth noting that despite the price drop, cabbage is still on average 4.5 times more expensive in Ukraine than it was a year ago.
We remind you that the NBU has indicated how much food has become more expensive in Ukraine.
