Ukraine prepares for the cold
Ukraine is expecting a new wave of frost by the end of the week, reported forecaster Natalka Didenko.
It is forecasted that tonight the temperature will drop to -10-15 degrees, and in some regions in the east and northeast of the country, it may even reach -19 degrees.
Frosts in Ukraine will get colder by the end of the week
Tuesday will bring a slight easing of the frost, with temperatures from -1 to -6 degrees. No precipitation is forecasted across Ukraine on February 18.
In Kyiv, dry weather is expected with temperatures from -12 to -14 degrees at night and from -2 to -4 degrees during the day.
Didenko adds that warmer weather is only possible starting from February 24. Until then, Ukrainians will have to endure the cold frosts.
We also remind you that Kyiv is experiencing its third year without a real winter.
