Ex-CIA Chief Assessed Ukrainian Armed Forces Operation in Kursk.

Former CIA Chief David Petraeus expressed his high praise for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) operation in the Kursk region, calling it an example of coordinated joint military combat. According to him, this offensive became an especially impressive demonstration of military skill.
Petraeus described the operation involving elements of four or more brigades, including elite units. Not only tanks and infantry were involved, but also artillery, air defense, electronic warfare systems, logistics units, as well as command and control systems. Petraeus gave special attention to the use of drones, noting the impressive coordination and synchronization of all these elements.
One of the key factors in the success of the operation, according to Petraeus, is the effect of complete surprise, which seemed impossible in a world where drones are increasingly used.
Petraeus noted that Ukraine demonstrated that such an effect is possible. He also mentioned that the main question now is whether Ukraine will be able to hold onto the captured Russian territory and how many forces Russia will deploy to dislodge Ukrainian troops from its land.
This assessment by Petraeus aligns with the analysis of the Institute for the Study of War, which also noted the dynamic situation in Kursk and Russia's advance in the Donetsk direction.
