Grain Export: Which Countries Ukraine Sells Wheat and Corn To.

Ukraine continues its successful path as one of the largest exporters of grain even during martial law. According to the State Customs Service and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the country has already sent more than 40 million tons of grains and legumes abroad since the beginning of the current marketing year. Corn and wheat remain the most popular for export.
The export of Ukrainian flour amounted to nearly 69 thousand tons, the majority of which is wheat flour.
New Markets and Strategic Plans
Despite the loss of trade visa-free regime with the European Union, Ukraine is considering opportunities to expand exports. There are plans to enter 31 new market by 2025, particularly in countries of Africa, the Middle East, and China. An important task remains the transition to a model with added value to increase profits from agricultural product exports.
Ukrainian agricultural exports have great potential for development, but it is necessary to focus on deep processing of agricultural products, not just on raw material exports. For example, compared to Poland, where product prices are higher, Ukraine has much room for development in this direction.
During martial law, Ukraine continues to confirm its leadership in grain exports. The country plans to expand exports to new markets and transition to a model with added value to increase profits. However, to achieve success, it is also important to develop deep processing of agricultural products.Read also
