The Grenadier from Kyiv fell in battles in Luhansk. Let's remember Andriy Yura.


Every morning at 9 o'clock Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died in the Russo-Ukrainian War. Today we remember a hero of our Time - Andriy Yura.
'Defender Andriy Yura died in the area of the settlement of Stelmakhivka in the Svatove district of Luhansk region while carrying out a combat task. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the head of the Obolon district of Kyiv, Kyrylo Fesyk.'
Andriy Yura was born on October 16, 1987, in Kyiv and received his education at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Brave fighter
On April 27, 2023, Andriy was called up for military service, where he served as part of military unit 3018, which was part of the 4th operational assignment brigade named after the Hero of Ukraine Serhiy Mykhalchuk.
After training, he was sent to the Bakhmut direction where he showed his bravery. After being wounded and rehabilitated, he returned to the Luhansk direction.
On September 29, 2024, he died during an enemy assault while defending his comrades from enemy fire.
His relatives note that he was a devoted patriot and a brave fighter, always ready to sacrifice for victory.
