Israel has intercepted a ship with environmental activist Greta Thunberg on board

The most famous young environmental activist in the world, Greta Thunberg, found herself in an uncomfortable situation - her ship 'Madlin' was stopped by the Israeli military on its way to the Gaza Strip. Fortunately, all passengers remained unharmed, they were provided with food and drink, representatives of the Israeli Foreign Ministry reported.

The passengers of the ship are being sent home, and all necessary humanitarian aid will be delivered through official channels. The future of the 'Madlin' remains uncertain. While the conflict with Hamas continues, the United States and Israel have reached an agreement on a ceasefire in the region.

Greta Thunberg's initiative has sparked negative reactions in Israel

Greta Thunberg expressed her support for the humanitarian cause in the Gaza Strip, which triggered an unfavorable response from the Israeli authorities. The Ministry of Defense decided not to allow the 'Madlin' to approach the shores of Gaza and even reached out to the activists of Hamas. The conflict continues.

As a result, Israeli military stopped the ship with Greta Thunberg on board; later, the passengers were rescued by other vessels. The Israeli government does not plan to allow the 'Madlin' access to the shores of Gaza due to the danger it poses, especially due to connections with Hamas. Humanitarian aid is delivered through official routes, and the issue of a ceasefire in the region has been addressed with WASHINGTON.
