Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that the Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris cares about all Americans, while her opponent Donald Trump only about himself.

She said this at the national convention of the Democratic Party in Chicago.

"Kamala has the character, experience, and vision to help us move forward," said Clinton, adding that she has known Harris for a long Time. "We both started as young lawyers, helping children who were victims of abuse and neglect. Such work changes a person."

According to Clinton, Harris will fight for Americans, for well-paying jobs, and "will restore abortion rights across the country."
