Ministry of Internal Affairs: The identification of 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers will take more than a year.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported that Ukraine has successfully returned over 6,000 bodies of soldiers as part of the repatriation process. However, the identification of these bodies may take more than 13-14 months. Each returned package may contain the body of one person or the remains of several individuals. There may also be situations where the bodies of different people are found in different packages or were returned at different times.
According to the minister, among the returned bodies, there are often those who were in Russian military uniforms and have documents and tags with them. This may indicate careless behavior on the part of the adversary or an attempt at provocation from their side.
Ukraine has returned over 6,000 bodies of soldiers, the identification of which may take a long Time due to the intricacies of the procedures and the possibility of mixing different bodies in different packages. The Interior Minister emphasized that he is involved in solving this complex task to restore the history of the fallen and provide their families the opportunity to conduct a dignified funeral.
