New Unified Outage Schedules Introduced in Odesa Region.

In the heart of Ukraine, including the Odesa region, new unified stabilization outage schedules are being implemented. These schedules will be the same for all regions, allowing for better management of the energy system and reducing the number of outages for customers. They will come into effect on December 16 at 01:00, according to the information from the electricity and gas supplier Yasno.
Previously, the outage schedules varied significantly in different regions depending on the number of hours with and without electricity. Ukrenergo and the Ministry of Energy are implementing a unified approach to create schedules across the country, which is legally enshrined. This approach will provide the flexibility to manage the energy system effectively. The new system will start operating on December 16 at 01:00.
Changes in the New Schedules:
- The outage schedule is divided into 30-minute intervals;
- Each queue is divided into two sub-queues: 1.1 and 1.2, 2.1 and 2.2, etc. You can find out which queue you belong to on the website dtek-oem.com.ua/ua/shutdowns and in the Viber chatbot: and Telegram: DTEK Odesa Electric Grids;
- The number of hours with electricity has been increased - at least 3.5 hours between possible outages in the event of no network emergencies.
Consumers Have Access to Two Schedules:
- The daily schedule - provides a clear timetable for the zones 'Electricity Available' (white) and 'No Electricity' (dark gray). This schedule will be available on the website and in the DTEK Odesa Electric Grids chatbot the evening before;
- The weekly forecast schedule - shows Time slots when outages may occur and when electricity is available. This schedule allows for planning over a longer period and is always available on the DSO website.
The unified national schedule will rectify the situation where some regions had more electricity while others had less, under the same restrictions. It is also necessary to understand that there are damaged main substations in the country, which transmit electricity from one part of the country to another, so in some regions, delivering electricity is simply impossible.
We remind you that on December 13, the Russian Federation attacked Ukrainian energy facilities again. This led to an increase in electricity consumption restrictions.
According to the 'Ukrenergo' schedule, today the following will apply for the population:
- 08:00 - 14:00 - one outage queue;
- 14:00 - 17:00 - two outage queues;
- 17:00 - 22:00 - one outage queue.
Industry and business will be disconnected from 08:00 to 22:00.
