Night attack on Odesa: there are casualties and injuries, destroyed houses.


On the night of May 1, Russian forces attacked Odesa again using drones. The consequences of this attack were reported by the head of the OVA, Oleg Kiper, and the mayor of the city, Gennady Trukhanov.
As a result of the shelling, residential buildings, a school, a supermarket, and cars were damaged.
Civil infrastructure was damaged in various parts of the city. In some places, fires broke out, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers.
As a result of the attack, two people were killed, and five more were injured. Three of the injured were taken to the hospital.
It is also reported about the disappearance of an elderly couple who lived on the top floor of one of the affected houses together with a dog named Jack. The couple's children have lost contact with them.
It is noted that one of the schools was damaged, and glass was broken in four windows. The educational institution is currently functioning as a point for providing assistance to those affected.
In the morning, operational headquarters will be opened where residents can receive consultations and submit documents for assistance. Emergency, medical, and municipal services continue to work at the scene.
Recall that at night on May 1, Odesa was attacked by Russian drones. One of them hit an apartment building.
