Occupied Crimea covered in snow: villages without power, roads blocked.

A large amount of rain fell in Crimea
Within one day, some areas of temporarily occupied Crimea received 70% of the monthly rainfall norm. As a result, the streets turned into snow fields. This became known from local Telegram channels.
In Simferopol, weather conditions complicated traffic. Buses and cars could not continue moving due to snow drifts. Storm warnings have been issued on the peninsula from February 6 to 9.
Local residents, posting videos on social networks, complain that the occupying authorities did not ensure snow removal on the roads.

Settlements in the Yedykuy district (Lenin district) in occupied Crimea were left without power due to a snowstorm. Power supply was cut off in 11 villages.
The occupying prosecutor's office of the peninsula claims that they are in control of restoring power supply in the following settlements: Poltavske (Lenins'ke), Mar'ivka, Marfivka, V'yaznykove, Hlazivka, Osovyny, Mysove, Azovske, Shcholkine, Yurkyne, Hornostaivka.
Propagandist media also report strong snowfalls in the areas of the roads Sunny Valley - Coastal, Grushivka - Sudak, Bilohirsk - Feodosia. Local communities report casualties from this cyclone, as noted in the agency's report.
It should be noted that snow falls are rare in the territory of the Crimean peninsula due to its special geographical location and climatic conditions.
We remind that meteorologists predict cloudy weather with clear spells in Ukraine, without significant precipitation. This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
A powerful anticyclone formed in Arctic air has moved to the northern territory of European Russia, strengthening the already high atmospheric pressure in Ukraine.
