The Pension Fund of Ukraine clarified the procedure for pension payments to the mobilized.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine provided clarification regarding pension payments to mobilized retirees. According to official documents, individuals receiving a pension for years of service, including former firefighters, will continue to receive pension payments even in the event of conscription for military service.
According to Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine 'On Pension Provision for Persons Released from Military Service and some Other Persons', pensions for military personnel and individuals receiving pensions under this law will not be interrupted in case of their summons for service during mobilization.
'Pension payments will continue throughout the entire special period until its completion or until the actual release of the serviceman,' the Pension Fund clarified in response to a question from a mobilized retiree.
This information is of great importance to those citizens of Ukraine who already receive pensions and were called to service during the period of mobilization. The Pension Fund confirms that the state will fulfill its social obligations to retirees even in the difficult times of martial law.
Maintaining the stability of pension payments
Thus, former firefighters and other categories of mobilized retirees who were sent to service in April this year are guaranteed that their pension payments will remain at the same level throughout the entire period of military service.
Earlier, retirees living abroad were warned about possible changes in the conditions for receiving pension payments.
