Russia struck the center of Sumy: there are dead and injured.

Sumy regional administration and acting mayor confirmed that Russian troops attacked the center of Sumy. The attack occurred early in the morning when enemy forces shelled the city. Unfortunately, a medical facility, residential buildings, and cars were damaged as a result.

Consequences of the Attack

As a result of the attack, three people were killed, and 16 were injured, including a 17-year-old teenager. Some of the injured are in serious condition and hospitalized. A special headquarters was created to provide assistance, and a fire was also successfully extinguished in one of the city's districts.

“In another neighborhood, an apartment building was damaged - without massive destruction and fire. An examination of the areas is ongoing,” the message says.

Experts from the Institute for the Study of War indicated that Russian troops are trying to expand the front in the northern part of Sumy region. There was also a capture of another settlement in Sumy region - Volodymyrivka. The president of Ukraine emphasized that Russian occupiers have intensified their actions in the Sumy direction, involving more than 50,000 troops.

In addition to the attack on Sumy, Russia also attacked Chernihiv on the night of June 3, resulting in casualties among residents of the private sector due to a drone strike.
