Russia has found buyers for stolen coal from Donbas.


Russian company "Trading House "Don Coal" plans to start exporting coal from Donbas in October. This was reported by the first deputy head of the government of the so-called "DNR" Andrey Chertkov. Negotiations on the supply of products are ongoing with potential buyers from China, India, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Malaysia. It is planned that the export may go through the ports of Mariupol, Taganrog, and Rostov-on-Don, as well as by rail through Azerbaijan and Iran.
The company does not plan to export coal through the Eastern range and Far Eastern ports due to competition with coal miners in Siberia. But it is considering the possibility of supplying to the Rostov region and other regions of southern Russia. LLC "Trading House "Don Coal" was established in July 2020. In 2023, the company's revenue decreased, but it plans to invest in the economy to increase production.
To attract financing, the company plans to take loans from banks. Russian companies are experiencing a decline in profits due to a collapse from the beginning of summer 2024.
