SBU attacked the Crimean Bridge for the third time: underwater supports damaged.

The Security Service of Ukraine conducted the third special operation against the Crimean Bridge, this Time carrying out an underwater attack on the supports of the structure. The operation ended with the activation of an explosive device at 4:44 AM. According to the SBU, agents of the service prepared for the operation for several months, installing explosives near the underwater supports of the illegal structure. The power of the explosives used amounted to 1100 kilograms in TNT equivalent.

The operation was personally supervised and coordinated by SBU Chairman Major General Vasyl Maliuk.

"God loves the Trinity, and the SBU always brings its plans to fruition and never repeats itself. Earlier, we struck the Crimean Bridge twice in 2022 and 2023. So today, we continued this tradition underwater. No illegal object of the Russian Federation has a place on the territory of our state. Therefore, the Crimean Bridge is an absolutely legitimate target, especially considering that the enemy has used it as a logistical artery to supply its troops. Crimea is Ukraine, and any manifestations of occupation will receive our harsh response," said Vasyl Maliuk.

As a result of the explosion, the underwater supports sustained serious damage at the seabed level. The SBU states that the bridge is in an emergency state. According to the service, there were no casualties among the civilian population during the operation.

The SBU reminds that this is already the third attack on the Crimean Bridge after the strikes in 2022 and 2023.
