A young woman from Nigeria named Alma Asinobi plans to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest travel across all seven continents. She began her journey only in 2019, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, she was unable to visit the planned 16 countries in a year. During the easing period, Alma Asinobi successfully visited over 30 countries and even started her own travel agency called Kaijego.

Now, on April 15, she has been tasked with breaking the Guinness World Record by traveling across all seven continents. This will be the hardest challenge of her life, but if successful, she will become the record holder of West Africa. The number of young enthusiasts from the region wishing to break world records is constantly growing. According to the marketing director of the Guinness Book of Records, since 2023 there have been over 7,000 record applications from 16 countries in the region.

According to the requirements of the Guinness Book of Records, Alma Asinobi must visit all seven continents without leaving the borders of the airports and document her movements at significant locations. Her journey starts in Antarctica, where she wants to meet the penguins, and ends in Australia.

She acknowledged that American Johnny Buckingham improved the record to 64 hours. She stated that she is ready to take on the challenge and try to surpass it, even with only a week to prepare.

Alma Asinobi also plans to set another record - to gather the largest number of signatures on the Nigerian flag during a party in Lagos after her return.
