European countries will strengthen support for Ukraine
At the summit in Sweden, the prime ministers of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Poland, and Sweden confirmed their readiness to support Ukraine. In a joint statement, these countries emphasized the importance of providing assistance to Ukraine, particularly in the defense industry.
'We will strengthen our support for Ukraine. In the coming months, we will increase our support, including for the Ukrainian defense industry, and invest funds to provide Ukraine with more ammunition,'- the leaders of the governments stated.
The statement also highlighted the priority of ensuring Euro-Atlantic security and enhancing collective efforts to guarantee the safety of alliance member countries.
The prime ministers also stressed that their countries are the largest donors of military aid to Ukraine and contribute to its strengthening. They reaffirmed their support for the Ukrainian Victory Plan and the country's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
'The courage and resilience of Ukraine will be supported by the strong and unwavering backing of our countries, which includes military assistance,'- they added.
The leaders of the seven countries expressed their readiness to counteract aggressive actions by Russia and punish any acts of aggression. They promised to work together to strengthen the security of their countries and their allies.
