Syrian rebels released prisoners from one of the largest prisons in Damascus.

Syrian rebels freed prisoners from the Sedna military prison
Rebels in Syria decided to release all inmates held in the Sedna military prison after the ousting of Assad. This was reported by Reuters.
We celebrate together with the Syrian people the release of our prisoners, the removal of their shackles, and the end of the injustice that lasted there, - said the rebels.
Videos have appeared on social media that supposedly show the process of releasing the condemned. Among them were women and even a child.
It should be noted that the Sedna prison was a major detention site for thousands of people held by the Syrian government. It is located 30 kilometers from the capital, Damascus, and was known as a place of executions and violence against regime opponents. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, over 30,000 people died there from 2011 to 2021.
It is worth recalling that a coup occurred in Syria: rebels captured the capital, Damascus, and declared the end of Assad's regime, which lasted more than a quarter of a century.
Russian media, citing a source in the Kremlin, stated that Assad and his family are already in Moscow, where they were granted asylum.
It is noteworthy that news of the fugitive Bashar Assad from Damascus was accompanied by reports of the disappearance of an Il-76T aircraft with the dictator on board. According to reports, this information was disseminated by Russia to cover up its actions to rescue Assad and his closest associates. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
