The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about the situation in the Pokrovsk direction
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk direction against overwhelming enemy forces. He noted that Russian occupiers are losing about 400 personnel daily in December. The Pokrovsk direction has been one of the most difficult in recent months.
Syrskyi also emphasized that Ukrainian soldiers are demonstrating great resilience in fierce battles. He personally visited the troops in the Pokrovsk direction, including the 38th Separate Marine Brigade and the 68th Separate Jäger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbusha.
According to Syrskyi, due to the overwhelming enemy forces, it is necessary to make unconventional decisions to strengthen the defense. The main task now is to enhance the defense and ensure that units have enough ammunition.
