The USA deported hundreds of Venezuelans despite a court ban.

More than 200 individuals, considered members of the Venezuelan group Tren de Aragua, were deported from the United States to a prison in El Salvador. The President of El Salvador reported that 23 representatives of the international gang MS-13 also arrived in the country. However, no evidence was presented that these individuals were involved in criminal activities.
Earlier, a court prohibited the deportation of individuals whom the Donald Trump administration recognized as participants in 'hostile aggression' against the United States. But in this case, the planes with the deported individuals took off without adhering to the court's decision.
The White House press secretary stated that the deportation occurred before the ban came into effect and is legal.
The deportation was based on the Alien Enemies Act, which was enacted over 200 years ago and last applied during World War II. Venezuela sharply criticizes such actions by the United States.
Human rights organizations accused the Trump administration of using an old law to bypass legal procedures.
The deportees were transferred to the largest prison in El Salvador, the Terrorist Detention Center, which can hold up to 40,000 individuals. This prison has previously been accused of inhumane conditions of detention.
The Trump administration is actively countering illegal immigration. The number of such arrests is increasing daily.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security halted several programs that allowed immigrants to temporarily reside in the country. An initiative that provided entry for Ukrainians was suspended.
The new plan from the European Commission aims to increase pressure on migrants who do not cooperate with the authorities or provide false information. They face cuts in social assistance.
