Ukrposhta plans to install parcel machines in Kyiv and Odesa
In the first quarter of 2025, Ukrposhta plans to install parcel machines in two cities of Ukraine - Kyiv and Odesa. This was reported by the company’s general director Ihor Smiliansky during a telethon.
In addition, Ukrposhta is preparing an updated mobile application, expedited delivery of packages 'next day' and the launch of a new international sorting center.
The director also noted that in December 2024, a record number of international packages arrived, especially from China. 'Our citizens are ordering goods very actively,' he emphasized.
Charitable contributions are unfounded and undergo verification - Ihor Smiliansky
People's Deputy Nina Yuzhanina spoke about automatic charitable contributions that Ukrposhta charges from each package and transfers to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the KSE Foundation. She also threatened law enforcement agencies and demanded to assess Ihor Smiliansky's actions for legality.
The director noted that all funds passing through Ukrposhta and the KSE Foundation are thoroughly checked by international auditors and law enforcement agencies. He also emphasized that the company, together with the KSE Foundation, has provided more than 67 million UAH in aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The deputy asked about the number of Ukrposhta employees earning more than 100 thousand UAH per month, but the general director refused to answer. According to Yuzhanina, the general director earns more than 1.5 million UAH in salary every month.
