Start of European Cups: When Ukrainian Clubs Will Learn Their Opponents.


Beginning of the new season of European Cups 2025/2026
Today, June 17, the new season of European Cups 2025/2026 begins. The draw for the first qualifying rounds of the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League will take place. This information was shared by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
This season, four Ukrainian clubs will participate in the European Cups.
Participation of Ukrainian Clubs
Dynamo Kyiv, the winner of the UPL, will participate in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. In case of failure in this round, the team will transition to the third qualifying stage of the Europa League.
Another Ukrainian club, Shakhtar, will compete in the Europa League, starting from the first qualifying round. If unsuccessful at this stage, it will also move to the second qualifying round of the Conference League. The teams Oleksandriya and Polissya will also represent Ukraine in the Conference League.
All three European Cups have 36 participants in the main rounds. The matches of the Champions League are scheduled for July, the Europa League for mid-July, and the Conference League for the end of July.
A new season of European Cups 2025/2026 is starting, and Ukrainian clubs are ready to compete in these prestigious tournaments. Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar are already determined in different stages of the Champions League and Europa League, while the teams Oleksandriya and Polissya are prepared to compete in the Conference League.
