As a result of the attack on Kharkiv on the evening of June 7, more than 40 people were injured. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called this shelling a terrorist act by Russian troops.

«This cannot be ignored. We cannot close our eyes to this. And this is not some kind of game. Every day we are losing our people only because Russia feels impunity. A tough compulsion to peace is needed,» the president said.

Among the injured are four railway workers who are receiving medical assistance. Also, during the attack, a private house in the Kyiv district of the city was damaged.

Events in Lutsk

In Lutsk, as a result of the Russian strike on a building, a young couple living on the eighth floor was killed. The 'Motor' hotel, where part of the Ukrainian athletics team was staying, was also damaged. The attack did not cause the death of the athletes but led to damage in their rooms.

Russian troops also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, resulting in debris from drones and missiles being recorded in several districts of the city. Among the affected areas are Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, Darnytskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Desnianskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi.

As a result of the terrorist actions by Russian troops in Kharkiv and Lutsk, civilians and athletes who were at competitions were injured and killed. The Ukrainian authorities consider these shellings and attacks as insidious acts of terrorism aimed at intimidating and destabilizing the situation in the country.

During the recent attacks on Kharkiv, Lutsk, and Kyiv, the messages show the advance of Russian troops in an aggressive stance towards Ukraine. These attacks caused significant destruction and injuries among the civilian population and athletes who were in the shelling zone. The authorities classify these events as terrorist acts by Russia and seek to immediately stop this aggression.
