At St. Luke's Hospital in Lviv, a package with training mines was discovered.


Today, September 3, a box with suspicious items resembling anti-tank mines was found at St. Luke's Hospital in Lviv. This was reported by the Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi.
Explosives technicians and all relevant services are currently working at the scene. Staff and patients are safe. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified. Sadovyi wrote.
Later, the Mayor of Lviv clarified that the discovered mines are training ones.
Law enforcement agencies are investigating who, how, and for what purpose sent this package to the hospital. Sadovyi wrote.
Recall that law enforcement officers noticed a suspicious object on Ozernaya Street while patrolling in the village of Hostomel. This was reported by the Hostomel village military administration. Rescuers from the SES arrived at the scene and determined that it was ammunition resembling a mortar mine.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, SES sappers have neutralized over 512,000 explosive items.
