In Sumy, rescue-search operations at the site of the Russian strike have been completed.


In Sumy, at the site of the enemy offensive, rescuers have completed rescue-search operations. As a result of the Russian attack, eight people were killed and 11 were injured. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Using the Russian drone "Shahed", Russia carried out two strikes on the city of Sumy.
"Evacuating the people who were in the medical facility and conducting extinguishing, information came about the threat of a repeated strike. State Emergency Service staff managed to move away. The State Emergency Service notes that rescuers evacuated residents and headed to the damaged residential buildings to eliminate the fire sources.
"Special equipment was brought to the strike site to carry out work at height. Rescue-search operations are completed. It was possible to evacuate 122 people," the rescuers added.
Recall that today, September 28, in the morning, the enemy carried out an air strike on a healthcare facility in Sumy using "Shahed" drones. The State Emergency Service, police, and medics are working at the scene.
It later became known that Russia twice attacked the medical facility in Sumy, and people died.
Zelensky also reacted to the Russian attack on Sumy and showed fresh photographs of the aftermath. The President noted that Russia can be forced into peace by strength.
