In Vinnytsia, a caregiver planned the murder of a pensioner to take her apartment.


In Vinnytsia, police and SBU officers thwarted the plans of a caregiver who was preparing to kill a pensioner to take over her apartment. The criminal tried to acquire a prohibited drug, which, according to her plan, was supposed to lead to the allegedly natural death of the victim. Law enforcement officers acted on preliminary information about the selfish motives of the 47-year-old woman. It was established that she had signed a lifetime maintenance agreement with the 83-year-old pensioner, according to which, upon the latter's death, the apartment would pass to the caregiver. After some Time, the woman began to look for a way to speed up the process of obtaining the property and tried to find a drug that could be used to significantly shorten life. During the transfer of ampoules with an imitation of this drug to her, the criminal was detained by the police. During searches of her apartment, prohibited drugs, documentation, records, and money were seized. The offender was detained, she was charged, and a preventive measure in the form of custody was chosen. The pre-trial investigation continues.
