Are Ukrainian refugees better off in Germany than in Poland? Journalist finds explanation.

Ukrainians choose Germany over Poland due to better conditions for refugees - report
Olena Babakova, a journalist living in Poland, claims that the attitude of Poles towards Ukrainians depends on what is broadcast on television. Previously, Poland was the leader in providing temporary protection to Ukrainian refugees, but now more and more Ukrainians are choosing to move to Germany.
The main reason for this is that Germany has a developed migration policy aimed at the integration and support of refugees, while Poland has almost no such approach.
According to Babakova, Ukrainian refugees feel better in Germany thanks to social services and a culture of political correctness, which are more developed in this country.
Also, according to the journalist, refugees choose Western countries due to the greater comfort and safety they provide.
It is worth noting that Germany has extended temporary protection for Ukrainian refugees until 2025, without the need to apply for a status extension.
