In Ukraine, a large-scale air alert lasted half an hour due to ballistic threats.


On the evening of Sunday, December 15, an alarm erupted in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine due to the likelihood of ballistic attacks. This information was spread by representatives of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The alarm was announced in Kyiv at 16:31, after which this news spread to other regions of the country.
Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, and Kyiv regions were marked on the alarm map.
Military officials quickly clarified the cause of the alert - the threat of ballistic weapon use in the regions where the alarm was declared.
At 17:04, the alarm in Kyiv and the regions was lifted.
It is worth noting that on December 14, this air alert lasted less than an hour.
Since the evening of December 13 and throughout the night, three alarms were announced in the Kyiv region due to attacks by Russian drones launched towards Ukraine. Debris from the drones fell in one of the settlements in Kyiv region.
