A digital service for homeless animals has started working in Ukraine: improving the lives of four-legged friends.

The 'Animal Adoption' service has appeared in the 'Kyiv Digital' mobile application, which helps find new families and homes for stray dogs and cats.

The service connects city shelters and helps find homes for animals. This is a very important step in addressing the issue of stray dogs and cats, especially now, during the war.

'We have taken in stray cats and dogs in the new service 'Animal Adoption'. However, they are still looking for a home and good people. Help change the lives of four-legged friends for the better,' the message says.

Users can choose 'Animal Adoption' in the app and browse who is looking for a home. You can customize the search by gender, size, or age. Add animals to 'favorites' to return to the decision later when you are ready.

'Do you know someone who needs a loyal guardian or a gentle purrer? Click 'Share' on the animal's card and send it to a close person in a convenient messenger,' the app emphasized.

To take a tail home, you need to select its card and click 'Offer a Home'. The caretaker will contact you within 5 days to arrange a meeting and answer all questions regarding care. You will take the animal under the shelter's rules from which it will be taken.

You can also invite a dog for a walk, for example, at VDNH or in the village of Nova Zalissia in Kyiv region, where animals are longing for company.
