According to the State Border Service, Russian forces most often shell Sumy and Chernihiv regions using artillery systems and drones.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the State Border Service Andriy Demchenko during the telethon.
Typically, the enemy uses aviation, artillery, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to shell the border, and also has reconnaissance-diversion groups.
“The enemy uses aviation to shell Sumy and Chernihiv regions, with most shelling carried out using artillery systems and UAVs. Our troops also repel attempts at diversionary actions by the enemy, particularly many such cases in the Sumy direction. There are also attempts at reconnaissance-diversion group activities in Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions. However, recently, activity has decreased in Sumy and Kharkiv regions,” noted Demchenko.
