The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported new losses among Russian occupiers at the beginning of Sunday, May 25, 2025.
List of Russia's losses on May 25, 2025
According to information, Putin's Russia has suffered the following losses in the war with Ukraine as of May 25:
- personnel ‒ about 980,850 (+1,020) people,
- tanks ‒ 10,854 (+2) units,
- armored combat vehicles ‒ 22,633 (+11) units,
- artillery systems ‒ 28,269 (+68) units,
- MLRS ‒ 1,396 (+1) units,
- air defense systems ‒ 1,169 (+0) units,
- aircraft ‒ 372 (+0) units,
- helicopters ‒ 336 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs ‒ 37,367 (+190),
- cruise missiles ‒ 3,203 (+6),
- ships / boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- vehicles and fuel tankers ‒ 49,751 (+112) units,
- special equipment ‒ 3,902 (+7)
Activity of the occupiers' fleet on May 25
- In the Black Sea, there are 2 enemy ships, of which 2 can launch 'Kalibr' cruise missiles with up to 12 missiles at once;
- No enemy ships have been recorded in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, 3 enemy ships are operating, 1 of which can fire 'Kalibr' cruise missiles with up to 8 missiles.
Daily, in the interests of the Russian Federation passed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea ‒ 4 vessels, including 2 continuing towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov ‒ 6 vessels, of which 1 was moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
The 1,187th day of war in Ukraine continues.
Analysis of the material shows that the situation in the conflict zone remains tense, and the losses of Russian occupiers are increasing. The consequences of this may affect the further development of the situation in the region.
