The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated information on the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of October 26, 2024.
Russia's losses in the war as of October 26, 2024
As of October 26, Russia has lost in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel ‒ about 687,600 (+1,690) people,
- tanks ‒ 9,109 (+12) units,
- armored combat vehicles ‒ 18,332 (+45) units,
- artillery systems ‒ 19,782 (+29) units,
- MLRS ‒ 1,240 (+2) units,
- air defense systems ‒ 984 (+2) units,
- aircraft ‒ 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters ‒ 329 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs ‒ 17,726 (+56),
- cruise missiles ‒ 2,625 (+0) units,
- ships / boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
- submarines ‒ 1 (+0) unit,
- vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 27,460 (+95) units,
- special equipment ‒ 3,541 (+6).

Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of October 26
- In the Black Sea, one enemy ship, no carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles.
- In the Sea of Azov, enemy ships are absent.
- In the Mediterranean Sea, two enemy ships, which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles.
During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the passage through the Kerch Strait was made by:
- to the Black Sea ‒ nine ships, of which seven continued to move towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov ‒ 13 ships, of which five moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS).
Today marks the 976th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
