According to The Washington Post, Trump sent coronavirus tests to Putin when the world was facing a shortage. Putin accepted the deliveries but asked Trump not to disclose this information. Woodward also states that the personal relationship between the two leaders remained even after Trump left the White House. The book also examines the Biden administration's response to international crises.
Woodward's revelations lead him to conclude that Trump is "worse than Nixon." The book "War" is criticized by members of Trump's campaign, calling it fictional and pointless.
