The relative of Ukrainian tennis player Tsurenko has returned from enemy captivity.

Tennis player Lesia Tsurenko reported that her relative, who had been in captivity for three years, has returned home. She expressed gratitude to God for this gift and wished all people even more good news.

Also, 277 Ukrainian soldiers who were in Russian captivity have returned. Among them were defenders of Mariupol, National Guardsmen, sailors, military from the Territorial Defense, the State Transport Service, Airborne Assault Forces, and Drone Systems Forces.

The majority of the freed are young people born after 2000.

The Security Service of Ukraine published photos and videos of the release of Ukrainian soldiers from captivity.

After hearing the voices of 'Glory to Ukraine!' and 'Ukraine above all!', the freed fighters greeted their homeland.

One of the soldiers, talking to his mother on the phone, said: 'Mom, I love you so much, I missed you!.'

President Zelensky announced that since the beginning of the war, 4,552 soldiers and civilians have returned home from Russian captivity. He reminded that we are in captivity of all those who remain, and we will do everything possible to bring them back.

This is the fourth exchange this year and the 63rd overall since the invasion began. This year alone, 596 Ukrainians have managed to return home through exchanges, and 53 defenders have been released outside of exchanges.

On March 19, 175 Ukrainian defenders were also freed from Russian captivity.
