Lost in the swamps - border guards caught illegal tourist.

In Rivne region, two residents of Zaporizhzhia found themselves trapped in the border swamps and called for help from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. It turned out that the men had illegally crossed into the border zone without any passes or permits.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.
Operation Details
According to the SBSU report, the 'tourists' independently called the contact center and requested assistance because they were lost and physically exhausted.
Border guards promptly arrived at the scene and found the soaked and weakened men. They were provided with first medical aid.
However, the detained individuals could not explain what exactly they were doing in the forbidden zone near the border with Belarus. Now they will have to answer for violating border legislation. The relevant law enforcement agencies have already been informed about the incident.
The SBSU once again emphasizes: the border areas with Belarus remain potentially dangerous due to landmines and existing movement restrictions.
It is worth noting that recently in the south, tour operators were detained for organizing a 'trip' to unrecognized Transnistria for 10 thousand dollars for evaders.
We also reported that the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law to increase fines for evaders. The changes apply not only to conscripts and military personnel but also to reservists.
As a result of what was seen in Rivne region, two citizens of Zaporizhzhia ended up in a dangerous situation in the border zone of swampy areas without permits. Despite the help from border guards, the men will have to explain their illegal activities and answer for violating legislation before the relevant law enforcement agencies.
