Zelensky: Putin is afraid of negotiations and is trying to make the war endless.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that Vladimir Putin is trying to avoid real negotiations and aims to make the war endless. Zelensky publicly shared this message on social media, noting: 'Today, Putin again confirmed that he is afraid of negotiations, afraid of strong leaders, and is doing everything possible to prolong the war. Every step he takes and all his cynical tricks are aimed at making the war endless.'
Zelensky reminded that Russia started a hybrid war against Ukraine in 2014, which escalated into a full-scale invasion in 2022. He pointed out that there is now an opportunity to achieve real peace, but Putin either continues full-scale hostilities or seeks to gain a pause to prepare for a new invasion.
Zelensky urged world leaders to consider the mistakes of the past and emphasized the need for coordinated and decisive actions from all who 'have enough courage to believe in peace and bring it closer through strength.'
