The Ukrainian delegation is preparing for negotiations in Istanbul

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky approved the composition of the Ukrainian delegation for participation in negotiations in Istanbul. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umierov headed this delegation, which included representatives of the diplomatic corps, military command, and intelligence services.

In particular, it includes officials such as the first deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Serhiy Kyslytsya, the deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Poklad, the first deputy head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Oleg Luhovskyi, the deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Shevchenko, and others. In addition, representatives of military blocs who will represent Ukraine in the negotiations in Istanbul have also joined the diplomatic delegation.

The Russian delegation at the negotiations is headed by Vladimir Medinsky. Representatives of Russia are ready for 'possible compromises' and discussions. The USA expressed skepticism about the possibility of achieving a breakthrough in the negotiations and believes that the composition of the Russian delegation being of 'second echelon' does not indicate prospects for significant progress in the negotiations in Istanbul.

Parallel to these events, President Zelensky emphasized the continuation of offensive actions by Russian troops along all fronts and noted particular attention to the concentration of Russian troops in the Sumy direction.
