Is demobilization possible during the war: MP spoke about the problem with the adoption of the law.

According to MP Fedir Venislavskyi, even if the Verkhovna Rada adopts a law on demobilization, a large-scale release from military service will not take place within the next three months. The Ministry of Defense has already developed a draft law, but an additional three months are needed to prepare the mechanisms for replacing military personnel.
Currently, an audit of the effectiveness of military units and the total number of personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is being conducted. At present, the number of military personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine exceeds one million, with several hundred thousand participating in combat on the front lines.
Although meetings are being held with the leadership of combat brigades and the possibilities of demobilization are being studied, mass release of military personnel should not be expected within the next three months. Perhaps the draft law will be ready before these three months pass, but its adoption in the Verkhovna Rada remains a matter to be dealt with in the future.
Ukraine's mobilization reserve stands at 3.7 million people, and the total number of male citizens aged 25 to 60 is 11.1 million. It is planned to mobilize 160,000 people from November to February, but some experts and officials doubt that this goal will be achieved.
A serviceman of the 56th separate motorized infantry Mariupol brigade, Serhiy Hnizdilov, left his unit without authorization and then decided to return. The prosecutor is pressuring the military unit to prevent his return to service.
