Google launches artificial intelligence mode in its search engine.

Alphabet has announced the launch of 'AI mode' in Google search
Alphabet has announced the launch of 'AI mode' in the Google search engine for all users in the USA. Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that this is a step towards accelerating product market entry and competing with other players in the field of artificial intelligence.
The new mode features a separate search tab for direct interaction with AI models, where users can ask complex questions and make clarifications.
Despite competition from OpenAI and other startups, Google remains the market leader in search with a share of about 90%. The company also announced a series of technological updates, including the release of Gemini 2.5 Flash this summer and testing the Deep Think model for coding and logical reasoning.
Mild reaction from investors
Alphabet's shares have slightly dropped following the announcements, which may indicate a muted reaction from investors to the company's innovations. The artificial intelligence industry is experiencing increasing competition, as more companies are trying to implement new solutions for information processing and seek new opportunities.
