Russia struck an gas station in Dnipropetrovsk region — what is known about the consequences.


On Tuesday, July 8, the Russian army used an FPV drone to attack a gas station in Marhantsy, Dnipropetrovsk region. This caused a fire, after which rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) came to help.
Consequences of the attack on the gas station
According to the rescuers, after the drone hit the gas station, a gas module, pump, and canopy caught fire, covering a total area of 10 square meters.
“The fire was extinguished. As a result of the incident, no one was killed or injured. Nine rescuers and two fire trucks were involved in the extinguishing,”
— the SES reported.
Earlier, on the night of July 8, Russian forces carried out an attack in Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in one man being injured. It is also worth mentioning that on the previous day, July 7, the occupiers attacked Zaporizhzhia, resulting in 17 injuries.
As a result of the attack by the Russian army with an FPV drone on the gas station in Marhantsy, a fire broke out, which was quickly localized without casualties and injuries. Such attacks indicate the continuation of the escalation of the situation in Donbas and pose a threat to the civilian population.
