Russians struck Sumy: nearly 30 wounded, including children.


Missile strike on Sumy: damaged houses and hospitals
On March 24, an explosion occurred in Sumy, caused by a missile strike from the Russians. This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artyukh.
As a result of the strike, a fire broke out in an apartment building, and windows were damaged in surrounding houses. Several residents received medical assistance.
We are conducting a sweep in the apartment buildings to provide assistance to the affected. Several apartment buildings and a school were affected. Children were in a protective facility, they are now being evacuated, all are alive and healthy.
The school, where children were in a protective facility, was also damaged by the strike. Rescue teams are currently trying to contain the fire.

According to the acting mayor Artem Kobzar, as a result of the incident in Sumy, 28 people were injured, including 4 children.
It is preliminarily known that Russian terrorists attacked Kyiv region on the night of March 19. This led to the destruction of houses and injured persons. One person was injured in Buchansky district. 9 private houses were damaged or partially destroyed, and fires in three townhouses were extinguished.
Additionally, the Russian military carried out an attack on the medical infrastructure in Sumy region, resulting in damage to two hospitals. One of the Russian drones fell on the roof of Krasnopillia hospital, but fortunately, no one was injured.
