On February 14, a tragic event occurred in Mykolaiv, resulting in the deaths of three servicemen of the Mine Action Center. The deceased are Vadym Yeliseev, Olena Klyuchnikova, and Yevhenii Syryk.

The tragic explosion occurred at approximately 14:00 on Pohranichna Street near a public catering establishment. As a result of the explosion, two individuals died, and another eight were injured.
At the scene, investigators from the regional police, criminologists, explosives experts, SBU employees, rescuers, and medics were working.
An earlier criminal proceeding was initiated regarding the Russian attack on the 4th power unit of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, and the Security Service of Ukraine continues its investigation together with the relevant authorities.
