Immediately by 30%: utilities in Ukraine sharply increase in price.

Residents of apartment buildings will see increased expenses for the maintenance and repair of adjacent areas starting September 1
From the beginning of autumn in Khmelnytskyi, an increase in the tariff for the maintenance and repair of adjacent areas and networks is planned. According to the local TV channel TV7plus, this increase will be about 30%.
Representatives of the management company call this increase a necessary step, driven by a sharp rise in the costs of tariff components. The cost of electricity for the service provider has increased 2.5 times, and building materials have also become more expensive.
"In order for us to be able to provide the service, receive a salary, and purchase the materials necessary for performing various works, we are forced to adjust the price," noted the director of the municipal management company.
Among other reasons for the price increase, it is also worth mentioning the accumulated debts of the residents for the maintenance and repair of adjacent areas, which have reached 4 million hryvnias.
The National Bank forecasts a further increase in prices for utility services.
