Drivers in Ukraine have started to mass block cars and issue fines: what is the matter.

In Kyiv, they are once again blocking cars and imposing fines. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
The capital is continuing to monitor freight transport at the entrances to the city. Employees of 'Ukrtransbezpeka' are checking the dimensions and weight of vehicles. Over the past month, eight trucks with violations have been stopped, and inspectors have drawn up seven protocols against drivers who refused to undergo weight control.
The city administration has also used blocking devices to prevent overloaded trucks from moving further. The total amount of fines for violations of dimensional and weight norms amounts to 261,800 hryvnias.
According to the KMA, all these measures are preventive and aimed at preserving the road surface in the capital and reducing the number of traffic accidents. Such checks are being carried out due to the increase in transport related to seasonal demands.
The city administration urges carriers to comply with norms and rules, as it affects the condition of the roads and the safety of Kyiv residents.
Please be reminded that American car owners have been warned about possible penalties.
